Commercial Director - Insurtech -  Vietnam
INDUSTRY: Insurance/Fintech/Internet/ E-commerce
JOB FUNCTION:: Executive Management/Sales/ Customer Services/ Marketing
JOB LEVEL: Director and above
SALARY: > 5,000USD
DESCRIPTION:
Our client is an international startup in insurtech with operations across different countries in South East Asia. They are looking for a Commercial Director to lead and grow their commercial activities in Vietnam. Report to: Chief Commercial Officer Responsibilities:
  • Identify potential revenue opportunities.
  • Develop a sales opportunity and achieve maximum value for the company’s commercial partners.
  • Develop and structure deals with insurance and commercial partners.
  • Work with existing partners to generate new business opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal teams in product and engineering to facilitate new initiatives.
  • Ensure good sales pipeline aligned with developed business plan.
  • Lead and train commercial team in the country.
  • P&L responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • More than 6 years at management positions in commercial/ business development/ partnership development for e-commerce, fintech, e-wallet, insurtech.
  • Experienced in setting up and growing teams in startup environment.
  • Experiences in insurance partnership is an advantage.
  • Good skills in strategic planning, stakeholder management, presentation and data analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business; MBA is a plus.
  • Fluent in English & Vietnamese.

  • Develop and lead product development life cycle including market research, product design, implementation and deployment for Thailand.
  • Work with regional product team and local commercial team to ensure the product is aligned with the company’s business plan.
  • Ensure successful product launches through collaboration with commercial and operations teams.
  • Liaise with engineering and product teams in HQ on product’s development and production.
  • Liaise with UI/ UX designers and stakeholders to define user flow.
  • Frame and execute test cases, and delivers post-launch feedback to stakeholders.
  • Responsible of new improvements based on research & analysis, data collection and customer feedback.
  • Develop metrics on the success of products and product launches.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\\\'s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business.
  • Min 4 years in product management and deliveries for ecommerce, fintech or insurtech
  • Startup experience is an advantage
  • Experienced in working with different teams across functions and countries.
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects at the same time.
  • Good at English & Thai
  • Good interpersonal skills and problem-solving.
